With Fall now here and the promise of mild weather soon to follow on our first day of 80 degrees as a high temperature I witnessed something that had been promised but never happened.  The house at 1003 Williams Lake Dr. which is Solar Powered was producing more electricity than the home was consuming and the electric meter was turning backwards. This means this home was sending electricity back to the grid and a credit should show on the electric bill. The process of net metering is relatively new and I look forward to seeing my electric bill get smaller through the winter months.
